well I don't know for sure., last night i was thinking about it and take a look up at the top left in the large glass ring. see how all the colors are blended together the yellow and green are interlaced etc. that comes from the number of times i whirl it around in the 3d. .. Check my fractals pdn style in my gallery. the method I use is how I always start my work. must be in that somehow. just the right blend then luminosity is applied. I've been trying to track when I get glass but it just seems to be different for each color blend and amount of each color. so far!

How did you get that glass look? I've been trying for a while now and barely got anywhere.

lots of blue and yellow to begin with and then sharpen & curves & sharpen & curves luminosity its still hit or miss for me but seems like I'm getting closer to being able to predict what I'll get using various amounts of the sharpen and curves luminosity. just need to start jotting down notes in order to repeat.

yes i know its still pretty hit and miss for me but think I'm getting a better idea of what will and will not lead to glass like effects. I do still trash more work than keep at this point. a lot of its in the curves+ luminosity and I just don't understand that fully.
