Fruit on a table version 2 by omagrandmother Fruit on a table version 2 by omagrandmother
From blank transparent canvas to finished project.
100 % paint.net

cropped for better balance. added the strawberry
darkened many of the shadows and added more highlights.

this is not a photo, but a drawing. There were absolutley no outside renders or scanns involved straight up totally Paint.Net.

Jan 12 2009 I have done a little mini tut of the Pear in the Paint.Net tutorial forum. Its a skimmed number of steps version, but will give you the idea of how this painting was done.

Love this program, have to thank Rick for designing it and all the plugin guys that add extras . Thanks guys.
ciao

thanks

grapes I just can not figure out why I have such a wicked time drawing these things. they are looking better but I think I'm going to practice grapes again in a different picture. Just want to nail them down. not being able to get real good ones is totally irritating to me. LOL!

they look great, but have you looked around dA for some pic's... or just ask someone if they can take a pic of some grapes for ya, mostly everyone here is helpful...

not yet. Plan on buying some tomorrow and doing from life. Maybe I'll see the texture for the background better than in a photo. (i usually start my work from a texture)

haha, that'll work as well. i've tried doing fruit, not good for me but i know if i practiced enough it'll come out. i don't know anything about using the pc to draw, i do have a drawing tab now but i'm having a hard time adjusting. not the same as holding a pencil in ones hand...:D will be looking out for your next picture then...

Try "Digital Art" > "Drawings" > "Still Life". Brilliant image though.

thanks i fixed that up now.

it was confusing me because the digital comes at the end.

Hadn't tried that path under drawing as I thought it was all just pencil/paint.

thanks again.
